Public Comment Letter - Preference List

The Housing Authority of the City of Richmond (HACR) announces that on July 1, 2023, it shall make available for public comment the revision of the Low-Income Public Housing Intake Preference list. HACR will no longer have a preference for the LIPH intake application; LIPH applications will now be selected based on the date and time of application.

These documents will be made available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the HACR administrative offices located at 58 South 15th Street, Richmond, Indiana.

HACR has scheduled a public hearing to be held on August 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in the community room at the Merle Henderson Apts. 81 South 14th St. Richmond, Indiana. At this time, HACR shall receive and consider any and all comments prior to removing the preferences from our intake application to the Board of Commissioners on or before August 14, 2023.
