Santa Visits HACR (Thursday, December 21, 2023)

As the new year approaches, HACR would like to thank our partner organizations and celebrate the success of Santa's visit to HACR!

Through this event, HACR was proud to be able to give a brand-new toy to each child of HACR families. Each Housing Authority of the City of Richmond (HACR) family who attended the event was gifted a brand-new toy for every child in their household. No HACR family was turned away, as there were enough toys for every HACR participant who attended.

We look forward to serving even more families next year!

Santa's visit to the Housing Authority took place from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Thursday, December 21st, in the Community Building of the Jerry Geier (Westwood) apartments at 2001 West Main Street. HACR would like to thank our generous funders, listed below, for their support.

Each family who received new toys did so after speaking with staff from HACR, the Excel Center, and Ivy Tech about the Family Self-Sufficiency program.
