Richmond Housing Authority

Richmond Housing provides affordable housing to the low to moderate-income population of the City of Richmond in Wayne County. Richmond Housing provides housing through the Public Housing Program (303 units), Housing Choice Vouchers (276 vouchers), and the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (12 units). In addition to housing eligible families, HACR seeks to assist those families in becoming economically self-sufficient.

HACR's Mission is to continue preserving, enhancing, and expanding safe, quality, affordable housing options, while supporting and encouraging economic opportunities leading to self-sufficiency for the people we serve. Uniting with various entities and individuals who provide a vast array of services is the foundation to helping families to achieve that goal.

HACR's Vision is to transform neighborhoods throughout the City of Richmond and Wayne County, where all residents have safe, quality, affordable housing and a high standard of living built on economic self-sufficiency.
