HACR sponsors resident training opportunities through local, state, and national entities.
HACR also partners with Communities in Schools (CIS) and provides a vast array of services to HACR residents, i.e. computer training, scholarships, and a wide range of parental support opportunities.
As a result of a previous relationship with the Conflict Resolution Center (CRC) (now closed), many of our residents have been trained as mediators. They mediate issues not only in Public Housing resident disputes but also disputes of various kinds throughout the Richmond Community. All of this in a voluntary capacity.
